Established in 2013
The District operates as an effective, transparent, and fiscally prudent administration whose purpose is to provide governmental revenues to the 19 participating Pueblos.
Our Vision
The Vision of the 19 Pueblos District is to be a well-established, thriving, and distinguished Tribal governmental entity.
Our Mission
The Mission of the 19 Pueblos District is to exercise governmental authority to protect and promote the District Trust Land for the financial benefit of the 19 New Mexico Pueblo Tribes.
Our History
Albuquerque Indian School District Charter was adopted by the 19 Pueblos in 2013 for the purpose of establishing a governance structure for the AIS Land under sovereign authority of the Pueblos. Our name changed in 2016.
